Plain gear lines

These eight lines describe plain gear that is not tied to one class.

• Plain work, but it helps a blow land where it hurts.
• Sturdy, if nothing much to look at.
• Well fitted; it keeps its wearer fresh and ready.
• Light and well cut; it never slows you down.
• Simple, comfortable, and easy to rest in.
• Thick and warm, made for long days on the road.
• Cut for moving quickly and hitting hard.
• Its maker had a good eye, and so will its wearer.
